Manage SMS Transaction

All AFFIN BANK / AFFIN ISLAMIC cardmembers are advised to update their mobile phone numbers immediately. AFFIN BANK / AFFIN ISLAMIC has implemented Transaction Alert via Short Messaging Service (SMS). Transaction Alert via Short Messaging Service (SMS) has been introduced since 1st January 2012. This is one of the measures by AFFIN BANK / AFFIN ISLAMIC to prevent fraud or unauthorized transaction. SMS Transaction Alert will be sent to the Cardmembers where the amount exceeds the pre-determined threshold set by the Bank. Such pre-determined amount is subject to change by the Bank from time to time.

    Cardmember can opt not to receive the SMS Transaction Alert or to change the threshold amount (minimum RM1.00) by completing the SMS Transaction Alert Maintenance Form which can be obtained from your nearest branch.
